6/5/08 Adventure Ride

The MTNADS were a little short this week in numbers but long in effort. We started out at the Gas Station in Olathe (man those bikes look clean)
It was Morgan, Ken and myself heading up towards the Delta-Nucla road in hopes of getting to the Divide road
Then it started to rain like crazy and we had thoughts of turning around but everyone agreed that we weren't in for SunnyWarmPavementRider.com so we continued.
Snow in June?

Ken was our leader for the night and gave us some really good beta about some of the dangers of the road up to Bostwick park

To start off, my hat is off to all of the guys that showed up last night considering the weather. Adam and I had to ride through hail to get here from the north. Here is the crew that rode last night (5/22/08)From left to right: Kurt Bechtold, Ken Watson (Flaco), Morgan (highlandcycles), Adam Truitt (mesaliving), and me (hawaii-rider)
